Protect your Personal Information

Federal law gives you the right to limit the information that your credit card company shares with its affiliates and other non-affiliated companies. The credit card company "shares" info on your creditworthiness with its affiliates and sells this info to non-affiliated companies. This info on your creditworthiness is then used to market products and services to you. If you don't want info on your creditworthiness widely shared, then call your credit card company and tell them you want to limit sharing of your info. P.S. credit card companies can continue to share/sell your personal credit information even after you no longer do business with them! It's a simple phone call. I did it today.
If you haven't already opted out of junk mail and credit card offers, it's Time to OPT OUT. Besides cluttering your mailbox and recycling bin and using up forests, pre-screened mailed credit card offers can be used by thieves to steal your identity. Go green and opt out of those offers: https://www.optoutprescreen.com/?rf=t or call toll free phone: 888-567-8688.
